I like change, and tolerate it well, and I’ve had a lot of it, in my work and personal life. I’m not sure how much more change I’m looking for, or how much more is necessary. I think I’m getting closer to where I want to be. I’m turning to fiction, and short stories and children’s books. I’m getting married. Two donkeys and a few sheep are comfortable for me here.

There’s a trick to it. When you stop changing, you can close up, even shut down. If you change too much ors too thoughtlessly, you can fall into a dark place. I want to keep considering the mix.

Maria and I are having a Creative Union/Affordable Art Show on July 24. We will be celebrating love, marriage, and art. Maria will be selling potholders, eyeglass cases, cell cases (she is making e-book reader cases as well( and I will be offering notecards and photos of dogs,donkeys, lambs and sheep. Nothing will cost more than $15. Sponsored by Christine Nemic and the Redux Art Gallery of Dorset, Vt. from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, July 24. Come by.

We believe art needs to be sold differently these days, so we are offering our best work sold as cheaply as possible.Art needs to reconnect with people, especially in challenging times.

Prudence is a wodnerful mother. She is loving, attentive and available. Bartleby loves to snuggle up next to her and look out at the world. The other ewes are very patient with him, as are the donkeys, especially Lulu. He’s off to a good start in life.

It’s good to have a place to rest your head when you are tired, or  you wish to look out at the world.
