I’ve learned a lot in the past few years, and I hope to learn a lot more. I am soon to be married, and that is one of the more important choices and days in my life. My marriage is an affirmation of hope, and of change. Of hope over experience, over fear, over discouragement. I choose hope, and I choose life and for those who have shared this experience with me, I say thanks.
Today my brother came to the farm with his wife, and we hugged. Our family has struggled over our lifetimes, and we have fought to stay connected with one another, and today we did connect, and it was another affirmation of hope over experience and anger and fear. I hope there are many more.
We can affect change, alter our lives, choose our stories and tell them to the world. I am a story teller, and I love stories, and for me, my marriage to Maria will be a happy ending.
