Heading off for a brief honeymoon. Back in a few days. Got a lot of books to take, and I can’t wait to sit down to dinner tonight with the wonderful woman who is now my life. She is the light, and I am nothing but lucky. I’m bringing my camera, but giving the blog a brief rest. I appreciate all of you. I finally got the girl.

Getting married.
June 12, 2010 – I am happy to tell you that Maria Wulf and I are getting married this afternoon in the big barn at Bedlam Farm. We just put floral wreaths on the donkeys – courtesy of Gardenworks. My daughter Emma, the best man, took this photo. I am a story teller and this is a happy ending, and a happy beginning.
We are both very happy and deeply grateful for all of the love and good wishes sent our way. I’ll post again before we head off for a short honeymoon in Vermont. I am happy beyond words.
Setting out on your own journey

Life requires us often to give birth to ourselves, or rebirth. I was reborn on the farm, and am soon to be reborn again. Life does not progress on a straight line, or a simple one. The perfect life is not idylic, pain free or simple. It is a winding road, with all kinds of twists and turns. If heaven exists, I doubt it is a place without problems. I suspect and hope it is a place filled with challenges, and divinity comes from our ability to rise above ourselves and meet them.
