In Vermont, we walked in the woods,
we came across the sweetest, clearest,
coolest Spring.
We took off our clothes, we waded in,
the air was so warm, the spring was so cold,
we closed our eyes, we just plunged in,
there was a shock, then the most refreshing,
beautiful feeling in the world, it was a fabled
spring, almost a fairy tale, so fresh and clean, the water so sweet,
someone had planted steps in the spring,
the wind blew some autumn leaves across the
water, their shadows dancing beneath.
