The Very Old Stone Wall. Seeing The World Anew

by Jon Katz
The Old Stone Wall
Photography changed my life, it helped me to see the world anew. Every time I get a new camera or lens, I see the world differently, I try taking photographs of different things, I see things I have not really seen before. The new converted Canon monochrome is already changing what I look at. I haven’t taken a photograph of an old stone wall in a couple of years, the woods where we walk has several of them and they are prone to black and white somehow, they are not about color, but history, farming and utility.

I am going to have a lot of fun with this camera, figuring out what it is good for, and what it is not.
