We are nearly done with the painting of the farmhouse, it looks solid and imposing now. I’m going to paint the green shingles in front of the porch, Ed Watkins is nearly with the painting on the front and side of the farmhouse, just another day or two for it to be done. The house, built in the early 1800’s looks proud and solid, the simple exterior white is a sharp contrast to the hot colors Maria has painted on the bathroom, dining room and living room walls.

We are not sure about the shutters, we may just leave them off, or we might put them back up. It feels good to have done this.
