I often stand and watch the sheep at rest, there are fewer timeless sights that bring me more peace than this. Farm animals know how to rest, they move when they need to move, they meditate, conserve energy and love to hang out with each other.

They rarely talk on cell phones or send e-mails and texts, or watch the news. There is a lot to learn from watching them. They are much more fond of me when I don’t  have a dog than when I do.
