 July 7, 2008 – It was hot and the sheep were anxious to get back in the shade. This is a bit tricky because I walk to the gate to let them back in the main pasture, and if they get anxious, then can right right over me, so I tell Rose to “hold them” and she does, and I am always astonished at how this little dog can keep 27 sheep right in place until I tell her to release them. Rose is my role model for work.
