Lenore sometimes hangs back while the border collies tear off up the path, always busy. She misses them, and waits for them.

Every day, after the afternoon chores, Maria sits down to spend some time with Rose, who has always avoided Minnie the barn cat.Today she got the two of them to sit together with her, a first. Rose loves Maria.
