Six months in the making: Rose and Frieda

This photo was six months in the making. Rose and Frieda, two dominant but very different dogs, sat down next to each other on the path in the woods today, the first time they have been that comfortable so near one another. A lot of training went into that. I’m getting a lot of requests to write more about Frieda’s training, so I will do that next week. I’ve learned a lot, as you can from a bright and loving dog, and so has she. So, I think, has Rose. Lenore was key in welcoming Frieda, teaching her how to live in a pack, and getting her to loosen up.
