Autumn: Flowers Die well

I think this is a Zinnia, but I never know the names of flowers. Beauty in small things. I love the way flowers say goodbye.

Moving forward

 My new bike

I just went to Saratoga to buy a new bike, and I like it. Took it down the road a bit. Maria is getting a bike this afternoon. Moving forward I think. I expect sore knees and a sore butt and a healthier body. I hope ride every afternoon, even through the winter, roads permitting.
I’m into symbolism, and this one is significant. I am quite healthy these days, and want to stay that way. I could never ride a stationary bicycle, or work a treadmill. Just not me. But I love riding a bicycle. I’ll keep you posted. I will bring the camera, if I can figure that out. A backpack, maybe.
Living a meaningful life is painful, I think. Tough decisions, about yourself, about others. Getting healthy is a daily challenge, on so many levels, and takes work, mentally and physically. I am determined to get there.

Lenore In Love, cont.

Lenore is passionate about food. She loves our new game, photos for a hot dog. Still working on the final edit of “Lenore In A Storm,” but going to rest my eyes and fingers today. Going out to look at bicycles. Looking for a place to light in the Adirondacks to research my next novel. Looks to look forward to. I am excited about 2010.
