Sunrise, Adirondack Chair

Two days to vacation. I am not especially good at relaxing, never quite figured out how to do it, but I need it. So bringing three books – two novels, three mysteries. I’ll polish one off on the plane down and one on the plane back. Bring my new small Canon G11 so I can take some photos and not haul the big Canon around, but I will miss it’s range and color.

I have no goals, other than to sleep late, eat well, talk to Maria a lot and walk and walk. I am always fascinated by Disney World, one of the great walking and people watching places of the planet. And am eager for crab claws. I hope to get to Sea World, but otherwise, an reveling in the idea of no plans of any kind. I have to admit I am tired. The novel was rough, and I have finished the first draft of the short story book and two children’s books. One to go. I hope to do more. In March, there is the Story Telling Workshop at LARAC and I am excited about that.  This year, I will have to see about staying on the farm or selling it. Or maybe next year. It seems to spawn a lot of books and photos. And Maria’s Studio Barn is red hot, spewing out potholders and bags and quilts. We became friends in that barn. We both would miss it.
