The Hound of Love reflects

Lenore loves to watch me take photos
Lenore has a reflective side, although it’s not all that deep. She enjoys life and in the warm weather she loves to sit in the garden in the shade and watch me take photos of flowers or whatever. I never make the mistake with Lenore of thinking she is thinking a lot. She is thinking food, love and ball-chasing, all the way.
Rose in flight. Touching the Web, two. Ipad chronicles.

It’s beautiful to see Rose leave the ground sometimes hard to get a good shot of it. Tomorrow I go to Albany to pick up my favorite lens.
This is a joyous occasion.
So, back to touching the Web. To me, the most interesting thing about the Ipad is the experience of touching the Web, very different from using a keyboard. It is more personal and intimate, the machine more connected to the body, the magical part of the Ipad. It takes a bit of getting used to, but you can expand and downsize graphics and maps by squeezing them with your fingers and after awhile, your hands just become part of the machine. I am not much interested in all of the apps. A money sucker if ever there was one.
I love buying songs for 99 cents and am enjoying the experience of reading on the Ipad. My e-mail is easy and I love the contact and address and calendar functions. I have to figure out the photo uploading. I will.
Touching the Web, one.

Well, I’ve been trying to post photos from my Ipad to the blog for several days, and as I don’t have the Ipad photo connector yet, I could only upload one photo from my camera to the Ipad before my friend Kurtis Albright took his photo connector home. This is the result of my fiddling around tonight. A shot of the Humiston family bringing hay to the big barn on Sunday. I am happy that I did get a photo up but have no real idea how I did it.
I not only uploaded one photo but four versions of it. And it didn’t bring the text with it, so I am adding this in an edit on the blog. I am not technologically gifted, but I am stubborn and I will figure it out.I thought I should leave this up as a monument to my evolution as a blogger. And then I want to write more about the Ipad and the experiencing of touching the Web.
Spiritual moment. From the screen porch

For Heidi in Rhode Island
The screened in porch does all sorts of wonderful things with softening light, especially at sunrise. Maria fills the vases with fresh flowers and if the light is right, I lay in wait. It is to me the embodiment of a spiritual experience. And nobody is telling me what to think.
Well? The Hound of Love is ready

Lenore is prepared
In case I’m interested, Lenore has brought me her ball. I don’t permit any balls or toys in the house, but the yard is open season for Labs. Lenore is hard to resist.
