The Barrett family has come into our lives recently, and that in itself is a good reason to open up. Chris and Jessica and their many wonderful kids helped us all weekend, organizing the Pig Barn Art Gallery, helping guide the crowds – there were many people – making us laugh. There will be a book or a sitcom about this family one day, and I might right it. Christ brushogged the fields, plowed snow all winter, and hauled trees around. He is a very dear friend and we are grateful he is in our life. Jessica is the animal control officer who brought us Simon, a bright, thoughtful, loving and energetic animal lover, mother, wife and friend.
