August 20, 2007 – Washington County Fair opened, and I plan a barrage of picture taking on this site, and in the Farm Journal, Photo Journal and Portrait Gallery. Izzy and I were in the Hospice Booth in the Washington County Public Health corner, and we will be back again Tuesday night and also later in the week. The fair is pure, by fair standards, centered much on agriculture, with the visually arresting Carny section and tons of colorful, cholesterol packed fast food stands. It is a rural life fest. As a diabetic, I would not last an hour eating there. Izzy was well recognized and received. I will be posting pictures all over the place all week.
