November 12, 2007 – Come see the art of concrete and the art of photography on display side-by-side in Saratoga this Saturday, the 17th, from 12 to 5 p.m. at All The Right Angles (518 587-4320), 536 Maple Street, right near the Wilton Mall. Stephanie Arpey will be displaying her paintings, pictures and crafts and gifts and Anthony Armstrong, shown above with his associate Cail Johnstone, will be showing concrete sculptures, and talk about their striking concrete designs for countertops, vanities, and decorative pieces for tables and walls. I will be showing and selling pictures, a portion of proceeds going to hospice, and I will be bringing Izzy and Lenore.
  At 2 p.m., I will talk about my evolving life as a photographer, and how that compares to writing books. Anthony will talk about the functional nature and design of the art of concrete. Cail will talk about how art and concrete can mix in surprising ways and she will show and sell some of her totes and bags.
  We will all be available for discussion throughout the afternoon, and Stephanie tells me refreshments will also be served. This is perhaps the last time I will be showing pictures for awhile, as winter is upon us, and I have books due. Anthony and I will also talk a bit our the book we are writing together, “Pay Attention.”
   It’s astonishing to me that there is only a month to go before Christmas, and Steph has some great stuff to sell, along with my pictures. Come by if you can. Cuddling Lenore and Izzy is free.

Also, a word about e-mail. There is so much e-mail coming into the site that I can’t keep up with it, so I am switching to a system with more storage, that should take affect tomorrow sometime. I can’t promise to answer all of the e-mail, but at least I will be able to receive it. Thanks for and apologies for any inconvenience. The site has a much higher usage than I ever imagined.
