December 23, 2007 – The Methodist Church of Hebron brought the Nativity to the Dairy Barn at Bedlam Farm this morning. Above, Joseph, Mary and Jesus join Jesus, my donkey, for a recreation of the story of Christmas. The old barn, rebuilt last year, has seen a lot in its time, but this was one of the sweetest and most pleasant scenes, and hopefully, the start of a lovely annual tradition Thanks to Rev. Debbie Earthrowl for thinking of it, and thanks to Annie for the the work in cleaning the barn and to Rose for getting the right sheep in the right place, as usual. The characters – the family, the Kings, the Magi, were splendid, a perfect kickoff to Christmas week. So Merry Christmas. The animals love the attention, and also the apples and cookies. Lenore ate many revolting things in the barn, Izzy cuddled, Rose did all the work.
