January 8, 2008 – Much warmer, clearning. Got up early and took some shots in the fog. Drove by this church last night, and I loved this sign. Called out to me. Joan e-mailed me and suggested I take some night shots of barns. I will do that this week, but I need an assistant to help out. Between nearly getting run over and all sorts of people stopping to ask if I need help, plus people wondering why this strange guy is setting up a tripod and taking photos – America is  not a trusting place these days – and also switching lenses, I need some help for this. Great response to it, though and thanks for the many lovely words about my poem. Nice.
  I am thinking about the choices people make, and will post about that later. Nothing but writing, writing, writing, today.
