February 12, 2008 – There’s a beautiful and mysterious new face in Bedlam, brought me by Jack Metzger of Cambridge, N.Y., a passionate collector and connoisseur of wonderful old things. He knew I would love this face, and I do. All Jack knows about her is that she is marble, and from the Victorian period, perhaps 1880. She’s going in my study for inspiration. I’m thinking on a name. I’m in love.
