 Lenore has become Bedlam’s chief morale officer, visiting the other animals, getting Rose to play, eating revolting things anywhere she can find them. She has not only charmed Rose but beguiled the jeering and and obnoxious goats, who pause in their bleating every morning to touch noses with Lenore and say good morning. It is a lovely new ritual for the farm. I think Lenore is really a Flower Child reborn. She loves everything, with no reservation.
