Fran’s healing comes slowly, and perhaps painfully. She has good days and bad. We have to keep her away from the new hens, as they will go after her wounds if they see them. Fran goes up and down, and the last day or so, it seems she is going down. We’ll see. We continue to keep her crated at night, apply ointments to her wounds, give her plenty of food.
