It did not take the new chickens long to figure out what the donkeys already know. Maria is a good place to be around if you are a Bedlam Farm animal. When Maria appears in the barnyard, all of the animals magically appear – chickens, cats, and donkeys. There is clucking, meowing, whinnying and braying. She does not quite grasp how much of a natural animal communicator she is. But the animals know. They always know. Maria has helped open my eyes and heart to the animals in my life.
