Battenkill Books ran out of copies of “Second Chance Dog” today, Maria and I came by to sign the last few. More books are expected tomorrow and Wednesday. Connie worked through most of her birthday getting more than 700 books shipped, and we were all kidding about how much longer this would go on. Kate said she thought it would naturally start to wind down, I said I didn’t know, I thought Plaid Friday and Christmas might actually make things busier, we will see. I have a hunch we will be spending afternoons at the book store this week.
