In The Winter Pasture

In The Winter Pasture

The Winter Pasture has come, one day after we walked around in shirtsleeves and some winter flowers had begun to bloom. It is snowing today, snowing tomorrow. In the morning, I go see the cardiologist, if I can get there, and ponder all these tests. I accept my life, or am learning to, I feel good and strong and lucky.

I appreciate Red, but I especially admire him in the snow, he is no different in the snow than he is in the warmth or cold or rain or wind. He is just Red, and depend on him, but never take him for granted.
