What a great photo to highlight this most famous quote of dear Mary Oliver. There seems to be a pall on our Cape Cod world this morning with the news of her loss, but it is quickly lit by even the quickest glance at Mary’s work. I had a brief personal connection and feel very blessed. The local poetry groups are talking of Mary’s inspiration….texting away our feelings. I am so happy she touched your lives, Jon and Maria. We benefit in so many ways.
I am so sorry for all of you, for Mary’s passing. She was a great spirited soul. Your reading of this poem was a beautiful tribute.
