I didn’t realize until recently that the idea of triple-tiered wedding cake is out of style. In the new wedding and ceremony etiquette, the couple gets a small cake and the visitors get cupcakes.

Emily Gold, one of Maria’s Belly Dancing Partners, bakes cakes and cupcakes and cookies, she has a company called PaperCakeScissors, and she made a wonderful Olive Oil cake for Ruth and Wayne, and cupcakes for the people attending the ceremony.

They were all amazing, they were all gone in minutes.
