I walked past one of the medicine rooms in the Mansion, Kelly was giving Peggie some medications. One of the many things I love to see at the Mansion is the love between the hard-working and underpaid aides and the residents.
It takes a special kind of person to do that work, and for the residents, the aides are often a lifeline to humanity, love, and connection. They were both happy to be photographed together, and their faces speak for themselves.
Hugs speak louder than words in assisted care.
