I am proud and happy to report that the Mansion Aides Breakroom opened today, and thanks once more to the Army Of Good for giving the hard-driving Mansion aides a place to rest, have coffee, lunch or dinner.

Up until now, the aides would have to go out to their cards to eat a sandwich in private. Now they have a heated room with new baseboards and outlets, a small refrigerator, a table with four chairs, a nice carpet and two soft chairs to sit on or rest on.

The aides were jubilant about the Break Room.

Kelly Patrick, an incredibly loving and hard-working aide at the Mansion, came back to work yesterday after a brief sabbatical and showed me how the finished room looks.

I was happy to see her back, she loves and cares for the residents in a very special way.

Work at the Mansion is intense, draining and relentless. This room will boost morale and give these remarkable and hard-pressed people a place to go to rest.

We got them two chairs, a dining room table and chair set, some wall hanging and a portable refrigerator, I just bought coffee creamers today.

There were a lot of smiling faces among the Mansion address today. Thank you. This will be a huge boost for the morale and comfort of people who work hard and do good
