Scenes From My Garden Bed Today, June 22, 2022

by Jon Katz

The Gardeners Of Good have been very kind to me, and I wanted to keep you all informed of the beautiful things happening in my raised garden beds. I feel like a natural gardener.

They are, in order, Nasturtiums above.

Peach-leaved bellflowers, also known as Campanula.

Coreopsis is also called calliopsis and tickseed.

The first plants are my memorial to the children killed in their classrooms, the Nasturtiums are coming back to life, and I’ve learned a lot about deadheading.

These are the first three flowers that have opened up in my raised garden beds. More, I hope, are on the way.

  1. Beautiful!! Very cool angle – shot from above .
The artistry in that photo is great. Love it! 🙂

  2. Great photo, grand colors, and it’s so great to see the resilient Nasturtiums greening up, and producing more flowers. You’re doing great as a flower gardener. My Campanula are just tiny buds here in CT, but soon…
