Maria finished her beautiful Heron hanging piece – – she calls them fiber paintings –  and shipped it off to a pleased new owner. There was lots of interest from people who wanted to buy it.

Someone even emailed me wondering if I could help her get it. She waited just a bit too long.

I couldn’t do that; Maria makes her own decisions, and I don’t get involved in her art other than loving it.

My best advice was if you want a Maria piece, buy it and don’t ponder it for too long.

Because the interest was so high, Maria is also selling the Heron as a poster, being printed up now.

She hasn’t figured out the price or shipping details. The poster will have blue trim.
