Flower Art. Color Theory And Me And My Flowers. And Happy Thanksgiving.

by Jon Katz
I’m just beginning to learn how color has altered and changed my life. The color of flowers helps me understand how they have affected my mood and feelings since early childhood. I’m seeing why I choose the flowers I choose and how I react to them – something I never knew but am determined to learn.
Maria’s dental surgery went quite well; she’s home and resting. I plan to take as good care of her as she has to me.
I prepared this Flower Art/ Color Philosophy this morning; we just got home. I look forward to seeing you in the morning. Happy Thanksgiving. Ours will be quiet, private, and grateful.
Color theory is the study of how colors work together and how they affect our emotions and perceptions. It’s a tool that helps artists, designers, and creators choose colors that convey the right mood or message.
Color theory is the historical body of knowledge describing the behavior of colors, namely in color mixing, color contrast effects, color harmony, color schemes and color symbolism. Modern color theory is generally referred to as Color science.
Some feelings colors bring – Red: Passion, Love, Anger. Blue: Calm, Strength, Trust. Yellow: Happiness, Hope, Deceit. Green: New Beginnings, Abundance, Peace. More to come.

  1. Wishing you and the recovering Maria a peaceful and quiet day tomorrow. I know you never take your good life (and each other) for granted. Same here. Going to have quiet day of *some* cooking…(which I enjoy) just the two of us….and enjoying the blessings we have.
    Love to you both
