See What You Did. Making America Kind Again. To The Army Of Good, Magicians And Angels All.

by Jon Katz

Our daily request from the Cambridge Food Pantry is posted below, but I also had to post this photograph I took of the main food distribution (renovated and brightened) station, where the pantry food is shelved and distributed.

To the Army of Good: I am in awe of the support you have given this pantry and this cause. You speak for the heart of America, being kind, gentle, and generous. Just about everything on these shelves came from the Army of Good. You deserve to see it, and I had to show it to you.

You light up all of us as well as the Pantry World. It’s wonderful to see those shelves so full.

Thanks, thanks, thanks.

The  Amazon Cambridge Pantry Urgent Wish List is accessible anytime, day or night. Click on the links here or use the green button at the bottom of every blog post. Every item on the wish list is urgent and updated several times daily.  Some people are adopting favored items and sending them when they can. Thanks for the messages; the pantry volunteers greatly appreciate them.

Thanks for the dental pastes, shampoo, juices, soups, canned fruit,  tampons, and pads. You have dramatically improved the lives of people struggling to feed their families and care for their children. Right now, we are helping with juices.

It’s a beautiful thing to help people with nowhere else to go. It means the world to them.  This generosity has never been more needed; thanks for helping protect love.  Helping the pantry gives significant meaning to me and, clearly, to you. Perhaps we can do the same with tea and coffee today.
