I’ve learned as a photographer that the most beautiful photographs very often only last a second or two, this is why I have two bathrobes hanging on a hook by the door so I can capture these amazing skies before they vanish under wind and a moving sky.
Photography has transformed my life and helped me to understand what is beautiful and what is not (for me). I see the world anew every day.
There is nothing more amazing to me than seeing the sun come up over the hills; it seems it’s moving every day. I never tire of it, and it is always beautiful to me.
Pastoral photography has brought us to yet another dimension, a reverence for nature, and how horrible it would be if we forget that. Pastoral art was created in part to preserve that feeling.
