Jon, your photographs of flowers are moving in a way difficult to express.
I have a friend whose vision is 20/40 and 20/50 without glasses and whose husband is an ophthalmologist who specializes in Lasik; she has declined the surgery because she likes the softness of her vision. Preferring sharp, clear vision I could not understand her choice. Your flower art helps me to understand her choice; it also helps me to loosen my desire for clarity and enjoy the “impression” of color and form and the ambiguity of the shapes of things…things which include relationships, politics, religion, certainty.
