“I was not born for these times – it’s all too sharp, too loud, too fast for me. I was made for an age of dirt roads, quiet skies, and where kindness has the patience of trees.” Pastoral Artist John Voedel.
________
Just about everyone seems to be dealing with fear mixed with hatred, confusion, and concern. This anxiety cannot last in a nation, especially this nation, for more years. I think we all need ways to steady, to learn how to breathe healthily, to decide how we wish to live in such a broken country.
I believe our leaders are falling apart, and how we best think about who we wish to follow them. My flowers help me, and I hope they can help you. Give them a chance. Give yourself a chance. Find something meaningful to do for other people. Do some good. See what happens.

Thank you, Jon, for being the sane and the steady that I’ve needed. I wasn’t meant for this loud world, either. I protect my peace, and go looking for what creates more of it.
