For The Cambridge Pantry: Exclusive Army Of Good Food: Diapers And Wipes, Velveeta Shells And Cheese

by Jon Katz

Bless you at the Food Pantry for all you do.” From Pat Atwell, Army of Good.

____

Here is the list of Exclusive food needed from the Army of Good to the Cambridge Food Pantry, March 22, 2026, and its customers. Almost all of the items on the Wish List are no longer affordable for the Pantry or the food banks. We can do it, and we are making an enormous difference in the lives of the Pantry’s customers.

We can’t thank you enough.

This was inevitable in the current environment. I am proud of us. We are carrying our own weight and more. You are keeping kindness and dignity alive.

Thanks again and again. Almost all of the items shown on the shelves above have been provided by you.

Today’s Sarah’s request for food support:

Available now only from us:

Pampers Diapers, Baby Dry, 6-pack, 21-count, $10.97.

Huggies Sensitive Baby Wipes (560 wipes total), $16.97.

Velveeta Shells and Cheese Mac, 3 boxes (easy dinner), $6.72.

______

(To be honest, Velveeta Shells are not on the list of healthiest foods, but they are at the top of those loved and requested by the Pantry customers. one of the biggest “morale” goods, as I call them. One of the many things I admire about Sarah is that she listens to what is wanted. They don’t need anyone to tell them what to want or eat. I hope we can help.) I won’t say a food is especially healthy if it isn’t.

You can help the Cambridge Food Pantry by browsing theĀ Amazon Food Wish List, which is continuously updated. Everything on the list is urgently needed. You can access the Food List anytime by clicking any link here or by the green button at the bottom of every blog post.

Some people adopt particular items they see by regularly buying them. It is much appreciated.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Sarah without carrying some food. She is always ready to smile. Sometimes she doesn’t smile for a while. Her job is sometimes not fun.
