Surprise. Something different tonight for Flower Art, something that humbled me and reminded me that I was helpless and could not compete with the beauty of nature, which came in the form of light in my bedroom window, just as I woke up. I thought I was dreaming and in some heavenly place, perhaps heaven, when I looked at the photos, and then decided I couldn’t top them today with my own, although I did throw one or two in at the end for any people with an addiction that might be out there.
This, of course, is one of the major things that brought me up to nature. My photography taught me that beauty was all around me if only I could open my eyes and see it. I hoped I could become an artist, and I’m still trying. This morning was a gift, a sea of beauty in a land of distress and anger, and goodness beginning to come out. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. The lights came from the darkness to the sun in minutes. I didn’t move. I didn’t even have to put on a bathrobe and run. I also knew I couldn’t top this. I bow to nature, the Queen of beauty.
I’m so glad I didn’t forget her and came to live next to her with Maria.

Aww, the window shots. So beautiful in their simplicity. God is the master artist. Thank you for the beauty, that we wouldn’t have got to see, if not for you.
Thanks for the kind words, Mary, they matter
Breathtakingly beautiful and exactly what is needed in our weary world. Thank you for sharing.
