It’s a good morning for good, it’s time for our regular support for mothers and babies – Diapers and Tampax. We are the only supporters of these items; the Cambridge Pantry can’t afford to buy them all, and the regional food bank doesn’t offer them for purchase now, even if they were available. This support is much appreciated. If we can’t do it, no one can. Pantry customers are under enormous pressure from rising oil costs, most food prices, and just about everything else. They have to make awful choices, but our support of these items makes their lives much easier and more dignified. The richest country in the world is not an easy country to be poor in.
