I love dogs and now, cats too. I love watching them, studying them, writing about them, living with them. Today I decided to take pictures of animals and how they rest. Just a short walk, animals were resting everywhere in the warmth.

Above, sheep are great resters.

Zip is always on the move, but his favorite resting place is the wicker bench on the back porch. It’s his daytime headquarters and a spot for spotting. Cats are great resters.

But loves to rest on my shirts and pants. He is getting older and is a serious sleeper. He can sleep where he wants. He also keeps the rats outside, while Zip gets them outside.
