It’s fascinating to me that the people who love war and profit from it hold press conferences all day long when there’s a war on.
I can’t recall ever seeing an American press conference arguing for peace while hordes of reporters surround the speakers who write or photograph every single word.
There is a part of America that loves war and puffs up over it, and a part of America that loves peace but rarely is asked to talk about it in our time.
Too “woke,” I think. I can’t say I know every violent country in the world, but I feel that ours is one of the most dangerous.
We are always claiming to be ready for war, but we are never working or spending billions to get ready for peace and to find a way to do it. My “war press conference” is different. It’s my flowers and my flower pictures. Flowers never threaten, bomb, or kill one another. I take every Flow art display as an eloquent plea for peace. They speak to the best of nature.
You have to listen to hear the pleas. Listen to them call for peace. Flowers don’t war with one another.

Note, flower camera, my Leica is in Boston, awaiting getting examined for damages caused by the winter, the ice, snow, cold, and wind. But the flower photos have to go on. I took these photos with different cameras, my Iphone 17, and Maria’s new Canon. I miss my camera, but Maria’s is pretty cool.
My assistant is waiting for me to come out and work. He can be a charmer or a hellion, or both.
