Yesterday, the Army of Good asked for help in getting three new Singer sewing machines for Sue Silverstein’s art class. The three were purchased immediately, and one good Samaritan decided to send a fourth on her own because she wanted to be a part of it and didn’t want to be left out.

People are good when given the chance (Sue Silverstein is one of the best.)

One of Sue’s most enthusiastic sewers is Chhayah (above), you might remember her as the girl who made a beautiful quilt for her Great Grandmother at Christmas. Sue saw that the machines she had were wearing out. She and the students are delighted to be getting the four new ones. Sue says Chhayah is a terrific sewer.
