I’m taking a walk down the road every morning. It feels good, I want to get some walking before the dread heat comes. On the plus side, my daughter Emma and her daughter, Robin, are coming to visit us on Memorial Day weekend. I’m looking forward to it. Robin loves to feed chickens and hold Zip. He loves to be held. We’re plotting a junket to MassMOCA, a wonderful museum in North Adams, Massachusetts.

Or we might play with chickens.

Robin and I have a regular contest to see which one of us can blow more straws across the table and hit the other on the head. I’m good at it. Robin, one last time. She’s almost nine.
