My “Bell’s Pawsley has been steady. The right side of my mouth is still smaller than the left, but the mouth seems louder than it did two days ago. The biggest problem (aside from dribbling some food out of my mouth) is my right eye, which needs constant drops to keep from drying out. It takes twice as long to do my photograph because the eye is always moist and dripping. I wear the patch to keep it protected, but then it’s tricky to see clearly; there’s a lot of up and down, back and forth, and drips and wiping.

My doctor said I’d lost energy for a while as the body moves to heal. It might be weeks, a month, or even years.  I’ve always wanted a Pirate mak, and now I have one. I had a beautiful day today; my daughter and granddaughter left.

We had a great time, but it’s tiring, so we’re planning a quiet, peaceful night tonight. Despite the eye, I’m enjoying these experiments with color, light, and flowers.  I made some progress tonight. Take a look.

My assistant stayed under the rain for a while, then came out to check on me and head out to the woods. He is happy and calm.
