Well, for the first time in several years, I’m without a Leica camera. I sent my Loner back to the Leica repair center in New Jersey. Once they receive it there, they will send me my Leica SLR. I am eager to see if mine is as easy to use as the one I just sent back. I think so, I’ll be using the same lenses.

The Leica engineers said they have made a dozen repairs and changes in mine, and it should be as good as new. I should get it in the middle of next week. In the meantime, I’ll figure something out. I started my flower photos with my Iphone 15, and I went back to it (mostly) tonight. Change and challenge mean growth, and I am up for that.

I loved the SLRS they sent me, I’ll miss it. But I missed my own camera more. Today I was inspired again by Georgia O’Keeffe. She wrote that people had stopped taking pictures of flowers because they had seen so many. Do something different, and they will look again. I love that advice.
