It’s indeed what the photographer sees, not what the camera sees. I am appreciating my reunion with my Iphone 15 and its great camera. That’s where I started with my serious flower photography, and I’m glad it’s here to fill in while my Leica is returned from the repair shop.
My mission is to capture the souls of flowers, and this calms the souls of humans. Nature can do that.

Wow! I love that you say flowers have souls. I believe that animals, trees, plants and invertebrates have them too. Terry Tempest Williams in her new book by the same name , calls them GLORIANS. 😊🥰
