I sent my Longer phone off to Leica, and my SLR is not back yet. Leica gave me a $100.00 discount on the repairs. I’m not sure why, but I’m eager to see the polished-up camera, which was used when I got it. I doubt I will ever live long enough to buy a new Leica myself, but it’s a dream and a fantasy. I don’t think it’s right to pray for something so material.

In my life, I do not imagine I will ever have $7,000 again for the camera I’d want. That’s the way life is. I accept it. That was my choice and decision when I changed my life. There is no going back.

Without the cameras, I was challenged to use the Iphone in a new and creative way for my Flower Art. I found an option I hadn’t seen before: a button that offers several undertones for a photograph. That’s what I love about creativity, you can always find something new and different if you look (or if  your cameras are not there)

I tried this one on one of our sheep while standing in the back lawn. I loved it. It’s the reason I love Georgia O’Keeffe, and her inspiration to me. The photo is just different enough to catch one’s attention.

To get people to look at your photo, you must offer something different or striking, since we’ve all seen flowers in much the same way, and most people don’t stop to look at them; they have an expectation.

Some people say they don’t like abstract art, but I love it. Close up, Soul art, literal art, I call it, and abstract art to go with it is what I like. Both are different from what most people are used to seeing, and that’s exciting and challenging for me.

I like undertone art sometimes; it’s even calmer. I’m trying some undertone photos tonight when I gather my Flower Art photos.
