This is the first for me; I’ve never in my life bought a shirt like the one made about James Talarico, the articulate school teacher and politician running in Texas for a job in the U.S. Senate.

What I love about Telerico is his faith, his genuine Christianity ( not the new and false kind). He is a wonderful speaker, and he actually knows and practices and preaches the actual teachings of Jesus Christ, not just the false representations of him by greedy and dominating men building billion-dollar churches and persecuting every religious group they can get to.

Talarico has thus drawn the fire of the so-called Christian Nationalists who specialize in hate, not love. Talirico is drawing vast crowds and raising millions of dollars; he is almost single-handedly bringing back to life the care-for-your-neighbor kind of Christianity.

For a while there, true Christians were quiet as their faith was stolen. Telereco is bringing them back to life.

Needless to say, his opponents are viciously attacking him; they seem desperate. They claim he is “weird” and call him “Talafreako” to embarrass him. This failed (I think Jesus is pushing for him), Talarico decided to sell Talafreako shirts and labels in return.

His crime is embracing Jesus Christ’s plea to care for the poor and love our neighbors.

America is now a hate nation, and a wave of young people is rising to fight back. The adults have failed them. I admire Talarico and am proud to wear his shirt, an answer to the names he has been called.

He is the future; he and others have come at last.

I bought one of the first ones. I’m not fortunate enough to vote for him in Texas, but I love the Tarareako shirt and have worn it every day on the farm. It’s in the washer today, and it will be back on tomorrow.

Talarico is fighting for a kinder, gentler, more truly Christian kind of country. Bless him a thousand times. Nasty 2026 America needs him, and people of good faith are waking up. It seems to be happening.

He has fired up young people and real Christians who miss their faith.

Talarico has struck a deep, deep chord.

His opponent, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, says Talarico will “go to hell” for his view of the Bible, which is mainly to love our neighbors. Hell must be nicer than I thought.

I’m happy to wear Talarico’s shirt. I don’t know if there is a God, but if he exists, Talarico is headed for Washington.
