Breaden came today for his first full day as a part-time worker here. He has been coming for several hours now and working hard and well. He is a proud, hard-working worker, he asks questions, remembers the answers, and is proud to get his work done quickly and well.

He brushed Zinnia and Fate and Zip (who loves being brushed), then the donkeys, then he let the sheep out to graze, cleaned out the roost, and helped clean up someof the debris from the Apple tree’s loss of a big limb.

_____

He’s fun to know, he likes to laugh, focuses on his work, and is cheerful and funny. For the first time, he’s got stories to tell. For the first time, he’s okay with being alone with his work. Maria is nearby, so usually, I am.

He fits into the Peacebul Kingdom and is loved by all of the animals he meets, talks to, and brushes.

We are lucky to have him. Animals trust him. He brightens the place and is proud of his work.
