First, thanks for the hard-to-get green beans that the Army of Good sent. Finally, the Pantry is bean “stacked.” That’s the good news; the other news is that the Pantry is running out of diapers.

So today’s urgent Pantry need centers on Diapers. Sarah says we need three sizes – 5, 6, and 7. She searched for the best prices – some were too high last week – and found better prices on Amazon. She added them to the Wish List.

New Offering: Kitchen Utensils, urgently needed. The Pantry has also run out of cooking and kitchen utensils, necessary in small apartments and motels without kitchen equipment:

“I found better prices this morning,” Sarah told me on our 5 am talk. “We are completely out of sizes 5 and 6. The families will thank you. We are getting more and more young families in recent months, and these young families can use the help.”

For some reason, diaper prices have risen, along with everything else. More young families with babies are coming to the food Pantry for help. Their paychecks are running out quickly. More elderly families are also coming for food assistance.
