Thanks for stacking all of the Cambridge Pantry’s vegetable space, diapers, and cereal breakfasts as well. The veggies will disappear again soon, in gratitude. If there is a heaven, you will all be meeting there. The challenge for a food Pantry is not to keep food, but to get it out in the world where it is needed. On to Coffee and Tea.

Matthew 25:35-40 – “For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink… Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Sarah and I both took the weekend off, but the Army of Good didn’t. Every one of the Canned Vegetables the Pantry distributes “is stacked,” said Sarah, “thanks solely to the Army of Good.”
I have to admit, I am bristing with pride and thanks for those good people, many of whom worked through the weekend to stock the Pantry’s struggling shelves. Thanks from us and the hundreds of volunteers who work their butts off to feed their needy neighbors.
The vegetables you got were Corn, potatoes, Green Beans, and Carrots. You also filled the shelves for Diapers and for Breakfast Cereal.
The Amazon trucks are still coming.
And that’s when we offered two days off. Wow. Good and decency live. Hundreds of hungry people, thank you. You are, one told me, a blessing. Ditto. There is no other way for them to get the food they want, the food they need. You show the world the true hearts of America.

The Pantry needs more help than ever. We can help the Pantry at any time, especially these days, by browsing the Amazon Cambridge Pantry Food Wish List, which is continuously updated. Everything on the list is urgently needed. You can access the Food List anytime by clicking any link here or by the green button at the bottom of every blog post.
Some people regularly buy particular items they see on the wish list. Your help makes an enormous difference; you are very much appreciated. We give what no one else can. We try to do what is asked for by those who need it.
